Job Description: 

As a Kitchen Helper at Kovai Restaurants LLC, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations. You will assist in food preparation, maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, and collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Assist chefs and cooks in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating ingredients, and assembling dishes.

• Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Ensure the kitchen area is organized and free from clutter.

• Ingredient Management: Assist in the proper storage and rotation of food ingredients to minimize waste and ensure freshness.

• Support Team: Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of menu items during busy service periods.

• Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards, including food handling and sanitation regulations.

• Assist with Kitchen Tasks: Perform various kitchen tasks as directed by the chef or kitchen manager to facilitate smooth kitchen operations.

• Quality Control: Assist in maintaining food quality and presentation standards by following recipes and instructions.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required; willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
